A new climatic chamber has been operating in CAE for several months. Thanks to this facility tests and calibrations on its products have been modernized. The investment, within the framework of the National Plan for Industry 4.0, allows for accelerated tests on the robustness of sensors and control units, in order to evaluate their behavior in extreme conditions.

The activation of all 265 new automatic stations, as well as of the 19 repeaters with radio reserve and of the new software and hardware technologies for the control centres, has been recently completed. The Decentralized Functional Centre - Idro (CFD-Idro) finally has the control and monitoring systems needed for an effective prevention and real-time control of meteorological phenomena.
