Mission
Our mission is to contribute to creating a world that is more prepared to the risks that communities face with regards to multiple natural events, thanks to our unique mix of expertise, innovation and commitment.
For this reason we have been designing, creating and servicing reliable and effective systems for real-time monitoring, decision-making support and alerts during emergencies. Our solutions are used both to mitigate the risk associated with extreme weather events and their effects on the ground and to mitigate the impact of wildfires, as well as monitoring water resources even from the quality point of view.
We continuously invest in developing reliable, innovative and interoperable technologies useful to preserve the territory and to safeguard the population. As well as being leader in Italy, where we are recognised for the specific customer care we provide, we supply technologies and services all around the world through a growing network of international partners.

History
CAE was founded in 1977 by four electronic engineers specialized in telecommunications, with a well defined purpose: to offer public and private bodies evolved technologies to monitor the environmental risk due to natural events, initially focusing very strongly on the weather and water risks. Since the beginning of its activity, CAE has advanced a development policy based on great care for the client's needs and on research and development of solutions that are more and more sophisticated and effective.
It is thanks to this approach that CAE, over the years, played a role as a reference for authorities responsible of managing emergencies and safeguarding the population, infrastructure and the environment, a role that it is still playing today. Its history brought it on the front line, together with Civil Defense and other national and regional authorities, to face the largest calamities due to extreme weather events that have affected Italy from its birth up to today.
