CAE is entrusted with the maintenance of the monitoring network of the Consorzio della Bonifica Parmense

July 2024

The Consorzio della Bonifica Parmense has awarded CAE the tender for the maintenance of the real-time monitoring network located in the territory of the province of Parma.

The purpose of the service, which lasts five years, is the maintenance in perfect efficiency of the instrumentation with which each station and each repeater is equipped, in addition to the annual periodic review of each network control centre.

This efficiency makes it possible to obtain the maximum number of valid data in real time in the central database, detected by the sensors of the peripheral stations of the network and transmitted in real time via radio bridge to the acquisition centre, as well as the regular use of the same.

The required maintenance is divided into services that have always distinguished CAE as a leader in the sector: preventive maintenance necessary to maintain the system in perfect efficiency; corrective maintenance necessary to restore the functionality of the system in the face of any breakdowns or faults; integrative maintenance, which provides a series of services that make it possible to maximise the overall efficiency of the system, improving it over time, minimising overall downtime and including remote maintenance and remote assistance, advanced remote control, data backup, maintenance of the transmission vehicle, around-the-clock availability.

In addition to network maintenance services, there is customised "On the job Training" for the client, with days of field training and remote training.

The network, as a whole, consists of equipment that communicates its data via UHF radio and in particular we have:

- no. 13 stations for detecting hydro-pluviometric parameters;

- no. 32 stations for detecting hydro-pluviometric parameters, also equipped with PLCs and/or electromagnetic flow meters;

- no. 5 UHF radio repeaters;

- no. 2 control stations, in Parma and Colorno, which play the role of Front-End of the network;

- no. 5 PG4i, stand-alone rain gauges that send data via GPRS.
