Mission
The Company born from the willing of four electronic engineers, specializing in telecommunications and researchers at the prestigious Marconi Foundation (Bologna, Italy) with a clear target: supply public and private institutions with updated technologies for the monitoring of environmental risks generated from natural phenomena, and mainly from extreme hydro-meteorological events.

This vision led CAE to methodically invest in research and improvement, creating a “value system” today widely recognized at international level.

Its mission – to warrant products and services of highest level, always assuming Client’s problems – becomes the winning development strategy in its sector in Italy.

Improving reliability and accuracy of measured data under the slogan “today better than yesterday, tomorrow better than today”, CAE contributed along the years to the evolution of the whole sector. Nowadays, Italy may be regarded as one of the most advanced countries in this sector, possessing a reliable and detailed frame of meteorological and hydrological situation over the entire territory, as a synonymous of “safety” in case of natural catastrophe.

In recent past years, CAE is assuming a key role in the international context: its technical solutions are more and more appreciated all over the world and its interventions are often a theme of discussion and investigation during WMO meetings.
